Hi to all of my esteem fellow
readers and lovers of romance novels.
I just completed my first novel
of a twelve book series of the De La Cruz Saga, Hot & Spicy. I'm so
excited. The novel is written in Spanglish (just a little-it has a
glossary in the back). It will be an easy and enjoyable mode of learning a few
words in Spanish. These are very basic words.
It has a charming combination of
breathless romance and sensual passion, the reader’s attention is caught right
away in the first few chapters. The story builds up into a memorable narrative
with a hint of action-packed scenes until the last of its pages. The entire
family is plunge into an ocean of nightmare, despair, and chaos.
This novel is about the success
of the De La Cruz familia, a Mexican American family achieving the
American Dream. The Mexican values and traditions are strong in the De La
Cruz familia. The De La Cruz familia demonstrates the love, respect, and
commitment of the Mexican family unit.
Jose Enrique De La Cruz the CEO
of the De La Cruz, Inc. needs a fiancée in time for the 25th anniversary
celebration. La familia is anxious to meet his fiancée, but he
doesn’t have one. His hermana Patricia agrees to obtain una novia for
him. Paty entices her amiga to pretend to be his
loving fiancée.
Jessica Maria Cortez agrees
to be his fiancée for two reasons. One, she has always loved him and
prays she can make him love her. Two, this is a great opportunity to achieve
her dream of working as an Interior Decorator Design Manager.
Hot & Spicy is absolutely an
emotionally-charged novel that will keep readers on their toes for the next
installment Hot & Forbidden in the “De La Cruz Saga".
The twelve novels are about the
twelve cousins - falling in love with their alma gemela (soul mate),
the strong family connection, conquering the obstacles thrown their way, and
their individual success. The reader will be meeting all of Jose Enrique's
cousins and tios in Hot & Spicy.
I'm almost done writing the
second novel - Hot & Forbidden and the third novel - Hot & Enchanting. I look forward to hearing from my readers.
Enjoy.
Patricia
